Not minding the defeat that got the Super Eagles out of the on-going World Cup in Brazil at the Round of 16, Guinness has sent a Congratulatory Message to the group for representing Nigeria gallantly.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria amidst many mixed reactions made a clear statement by showing their resilience and determination against worthy opponents in all of their matches before they got knocked out.

Mr Seni Adetu, who is the Managing Director Guinness Nigeria Plc, has expressed the brand’s loyalty to the dedicated selfless attitude of the the Eagles. Mr Adetu made it known that although the brand would have loved to see them go all the way to the finals, but moving on and learning from this World Cup will make the players more courageous to face future’s challenges with more courage, determination and passion.
While congratulating them, the Managing Director also said that the entire team has every reason to hold their heads high for representing their fatherland and for also progressing to the knock-out stage of the world cup – a feat that eluded a lot of the football Super powers.
He further made known the brand’s unwavering continuous support for the National team come rain, come shine.
It would be recalled that so many reactions trailed the last match that got Nigeria knocked out from the ongoing World cup in Brazil. While some players have quit the group just after knock-out match,many are still of the opinion that something good is coming out of the Eagles.
