Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peter Rufai has said that the national team campaigning at the Brazil 2014 World Cup should not be written off.

In a chat with Sports Vanguard, Rufai said the Eagles should not be judged from their performance against Iran. “It was their first match in the tournament. It is always difficult to play the first match and I believe, we have not seen the best of the Stephen Keshi team yet,” Rufai said.
He insisted that the Super Eagles will be different against Bosnia and Herzegovina because he expects the two teams to play an open game.
“Iran’s game plan was to stop the Eagles and they succeeded by not allowing our players to play. Against Bosnia it is going to be different,” he said repeatedly.
Rufai believes the Eagles will triumph over Bosnia-Herzegovina. “The Eagles know their opponents, how they play and organise themselves. But they(Bosnia) are yet to see the best of Eagles. It is going to be a big clash on Saturday.”
